The Future of Finance Institute (FFI) is a new body established by mas-singapore (June 25, 2026) to accelerate adoption of AI and tokenisation in Singapore’s financial sector — moving projects from pilots to production.

- Innovation garage: Cross-industry collaboration on AI and tokenisation
- Industry sandboxes: Testing programmable money, tokenised assets, AI workflows
- Toolkits: Programmable Compliance Toolkit; updated AI Risk Management Toolkit for agentic AI
Governance
Board: MAS, major financial institutions, technology firms, academia. MAS retains policy/regulatory role; FFI handles industry adoption. Strategy details expected later in 2026.
