Google Play announced October 13, 2026 updates including hosting vibe-coded Android apps built in Google AI Studio in a private Personal Library on users’ devices—no developer account required, standard Google account, U.S. rollout for users 18+. Apps stay off public catalog and search. Sharing with a small trusted circle planned in coming months; graduating to public distribution requires professional developer onboarding and Trust & Safety review matching standard Play policies.
