DNSid (DNS-Anchored Durable Identity for AI Agents) is a proposed open standard that binds each AI agent to a Fully Qualified Domain Name under an accountable entity’s control, publishing cryptographic pointers via DNS TXT records for ownership, keys, lifecycle log, and status. Submitted as an IETF Internet-Draft.
