JPMorgan Chase held the top spot as the world’s most AI-advanced bank for a fifth consecutive year in the Evident AI Index published October 2026.
Capital One and Royal Bank of Canada retained second and third places. Commonwealth Bank of Australia stayed fourth as the only Asia-Pacific lender in the top 10. UBS at sixth is the sole European bank in the top 10.
Evident reported AI deployment across the 50 assessed banks accelerated at a record pace, nearly 3x the average of the previous three years.
