DPM Gan Kim Yong launched IBF AI Workforce Co-Lab with 23 pioneer institutions across banking, insurance, and asset management.
The 23 institutions committed to train entire Singapore workforce — over 80,000 employees — in critical AI skills by 2028 through IBF-recognised programmes. More than half already trained.
Three pathways launched: Co-Lab@Leaders (governance, workforce transformation), Co-Lab@Wealth Managers (AI-enhanced advisory), Co-Lab@Operations (process improvement, AI output validation). Pilot Young Talent Programme for AI in Finance for undergraduates also announced.
