Sept 17 (Reuters) — AI infrastructure provider Crusoe raised 30.9 billion as demand for AI compute capacity surges.
The Series F round was co-led by Atreides Management, Mubadala Capital, and Valor Equity Partners, with participation from Founders Fund, Nvidia, QIA, Radical Ventures, and TPG.
Crusoe pivoted from crypto mining on flared natural gas to AI data center infrastructure. Customers include Meta, Microsoft, and Oracle. The company is building large data center projects including an OpenAI site in Abilene, Texas, and modular “Spark” AI factories deployable by truck.
Crusoe signed a reported $13 billion five-year GPU contract with Jane Street and is exploring a near-term IPO. New board members include Cloudflare CFO Thomas Seifert and Redwood Materials CEO JB Straubel.
