Nscale announced a definitive agreement to acquire Anyscale, the platform for scaling AI workloads across thousands of GPUs. Nscale supplies GPUs, data centers, and power; Anyscale brings the software layer for ML engineers. Anyscale will continue under its brand; customers remain free to choose infrastructure. ~200 Anyscale staff join Nscale. Ray remains open source under PyTorch Foundation; Nscale will join the foundation. Close expected H2 2026 subject to regulatory approvals. Financial terms not disclosed.
