The grid software runs on — groundcover raises $100M Series C

July 29, 2026 — Today we’re announcing a $100 million Series C to accelerate building the world’s first true observability platform for the AI era — the grid autonomous software runs on.

Led by One Peak, with Morgan Stanley Expansion Capital and existing investors Zeev Ventures, Angular Ventures, Heavybit, and Jibe, bringing total funding to $160 million.

Thesis

Agents write, test, ship, and fix code with fewer humans in the loop. Autonomous software needs full-fidelity telemetry — not sampled brownouts sold as best practice by legacy vendors priced on volume. groundcover offers unsampled telemetry across infrastructure, applications, and AI workloads via an eBPF sensor with no code changes, plus native OpenTelemetry. Architecture is bring-your-own-cloud (BYOC): telemetry stays in the customer’s cloud.

• b.well: previously sampled to ~25% and dropped logs; now samples nothing, ~10× more data, pays less
• TRM Labs: cut observability bill >80% while collecting >2× data; every new service defaults to groundcover

More than 250 companies run on groundcover; tripled revenue last year and doubled the team. Capital targets North America GTM, new geographies, cloud-provider co-sell, and AI product roadmap including Agent Mode for production remediation.
