A2UI v0.9: The New Standard for Portable, Framework-Agnostic Generative UI

Google released A2UI v0.9 July 3, 2026—an Apache 2.0 open standard for agents to declare UI intent rendered natively across web, mobile, and desktop using existing design systems. Release includes shared web-core library, official React renderer, Python Agent SDK (pip install a2ui-agent-sdk), bidirectional protocol via AG-UI middleware, and transports including MCP and A2A 1.0. Production release is v0.9.1; v1.0 RC spec available with client-to-server RPC and action IDs.
