GitHub made browser tools for Copilot in VS Code generally available July 1, 2026. Copilot agents drive real browser instances — not simulated environments — for testing workflows, debugging, form submission checks, and responsive layout verification.

Pricing unchanged: 19/month business. Tools integrate into the VS Code Copilot extension using headless browser automation. GitHub has not announced browser tool availability for JetBrains, Visual Studio, or Neovim Copilot integrations.

All Copilot subscribers with VS Code access can use browser tools immediately without additional configuration.
