Application observability startup groundcover Ltd. announced a major expansion of Agent Mode on June 29, 2026, letting AI agents act on observability data across Slack, Linear, GitHub, Claude, and Cursor.
Engineers can direct agents to recommend code, open pull requests, and manage tasks inside external tools using the user’s own credentials. Agent reasoning and execution remain in the customer’s cloud. Remote Model Context Protocol connectors let outside agentic services interface with Agent Mode.
Organizations can customize built-in agent skills or author their own, mapping runbooks and operational playbooks. Administrator-level MCP guardrails define which MCP services, connectors, and tools are permitted; every execution is attributable to a named user.
Features ship at no additional cost to 200+ deployed customers.
