Securitize expects to begin trading on the New York Stock Exchange next week after securing roughly $400 million through its merger with Cantor Equity Partners II.
Fewer than 30% of CEPT holders chose to redeem their shares, leaving Securitize to retain over 71% of the SPAC trust. Combined with PIPE financing including an oversubscribed 400 million in gross proceeds.
The merger is expected to close on Wednesday, with shares scheduled to begin trading on the NYSE under the ticker SECZ the following day.
BlackRock’s BUIDL fund, issued on Securitize’s platform, has grown to more than $3 billion.
