Three-part strategy
- National framework building on state laws (California SB 53, New York RAISE Act, Illinois SB 315)
- Strengthen CAISI as primary federal frontier AI safety institution
- Mobilize government resilience plan for national security/public safety challenges including recursive self-improvement monitoring
Follows White House EO on Promoting Advanced Artificial Intelligence Innovation and Security. OpenAI signed voluntary agreements with CAISI and UK AI Security Institute, EU AI Act Code of Practice.
