Anthropic on June 1, 2026 announced that it has filed confidential IPO papers with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
Three companies could enter the public markets with valuations of at least $1 trillion — something that never before had even happened once. SpaceX is expected to be first, with its IPO anticipated later in June 2026. Both Anthropic and OpenAI are racing to be second.
The filing follows Anthropic’s May 28 Series H round at a $965 billion post-money valuation.
