AI giant Anthropic announced a 965 billion valuation on May 28, 2026. The financing puts its valuation above rival AI lab OpenAI, which was valued at 122 billion funding round.
The round was led by Altimeter Capital, Dragoneer, Greenoaks and Sequoia Capital, and almost triples Anthropic’s valuation from February, when it was worth 15 billion of previously committed investments, including $5 billion from Amazon.
Anthropic’s run-rate revenue crossed $47 billion earlier in May 2026, according to the company.
