Revolut is expanding its physical presence in Barcelona, though it does not currently operate a traditional physical bank branch. The company has several initiatives underway:
1. Revolut Store (Planned)
Revolut plans to open its first permanent physical retail space, known as the “Revolut Store,” near Plaça Catalunya in Barcelona. This store is envisioned as an “Apple Store-style” immersive experience, not a conventional bank branch. It will offer in-person support, product information (including crypto, savings, and trading), and a tangible brand experience. The opening is anticipated by the end of 2026 or early 2027.
2. Branded ATMs
Revolut has deployed its own branded ATMs across Barcelona. These ATMs are more advanced than standard machines, supporting cash withdrawals via QR code, NFC (contactless), and EMV. They feature a modern interface integrated with the Revolut app, which can also be used to locate nearby ATMs.
3. Barcelona Tech Hub (Office)
In 2024, Revolut established a significant Tech Hub in Barcelona’s Eixample Dret district, located within the Aticco coworking space. It is important to note that this is a corporate office for staff and developers, not a customer service center.
4. Airport Vending Machines
For immediate access to a physical Revolut card, vending machines are available in the airside security area of Barcelona-El Prat Airport (BCN).
Summary
While the physical store is still under development, customers requiring immediate support should primarily use the in-app chat. For cash needs or physical cards, the branded ATMs and airport vending machines are available options.
